Uluda\u011f Textile Exporters Association (UT\u0130B) was established in 1986 in Bursa under the Uluda\u011f Exporters' Associations. As of the beginning of 2024, UT\u0130B has 3,702 active members. Today, our Association exports to more than 160 countries and regions across all continents, including key markets such as the USA, Germany, Spain, Belarus, Egypt, Italy, the Russian Federation, Morocco, and the United Kingdom. By the end of 2023, UT\u0130B achieved a total export value of $1.282 billion. In recent years, UT\u0130B has organized numerous events such as congresses, workshops, national participation in international fairs, procurement committees, trend zones, seminars, training sessions, and initiatives like the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge. Through its projects and activities, UT\u0130B has set a benchmark for the sector and other pioneering industries.<\/p>\n

The textile industry is one of T\u00fcrkiye's traditional industrial sectors and a cornerstone of its industrial and export success story. The Turkish textile and apparel industry, as a whole, is the leading sector in generating trade surpluses. Additionally, it makes significant contributions to reducing unemployment and enhancing societal welfare through the employment it creates. The Turkish textile industry holds a unique position globally due to its product quality, design capabilities that influence fashion and trends, and advanced technology. In terms of parameters such as its share in GDP and use of local inputs, the sector ranks first in T\u00fcrkiye and forms the foundation of our presence in global markets.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcrkiye is Europe\u2019s largest textile-producing country. Globally, it ranks as the seventh-largest cotton producer. The machine park established for the production of embroidery and lace for home textiles is the largest in the world. Additionally, the largest duvet cover manufacturing factory in Europe is located in T\u00fcrkiye. T\u00fcrkiye is also one of the top three suppliers of towels globally. T\u00fcrkiye's share in global textile exports is approximately 3.4%, and it accounts for 3.8% in home and interior textiles (2022).<\/p>\n

Ayr\u0131ca proje ve faaliyetleri ile sekt\u00f6re ve di\u011fer \u00f6nc\u00fc sekt\u00f6rlere \u00f6rnek olma ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. Tekstil sekt\u00f6r\u00fc \u00fclkemizin geleneksel sanayi kollar\u0131ndan olup sanayi ve ihracatta ba\u015far\u0131 \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn temel ta\u015flar\u0131ndan birisidir. T\u00fcrkiye tekstil ve haz\u0131r giyim sekt\u00f6r\u00fc bir b\u00fct\u00fcn olarak bug\u00fcn en fazla d\u0131\u015f ticaret fazlas\u0131 veren birinci sekt\u00f6rd\u00fcr. Buna ek olarak olu\u015fturdu\u011fu istihdam ile i\u015fsizli\u011fin azalmas\u0131na ve toplumun refah\u0131na \u00e7ok ciddi d\u00fczeyde katk\u0131lar\u0131 mevcuttur. T\u00fcrk Tekstil Sekt\u00f6r\u00fc, \u00fcr\u00fcn kalitesi, moda ve trendleri belirleme g\u00fcc\u00fcne sahip tasar\u0131mlar\u0131 ve y\u00fcksek teknolojisi itibar\u0131yla d\u00fcnyada \u00e7ok \u00f6zel bir yere sahiptir. GSYH i\u00e7indeki pay\u0131 ve yerli girdi kullan\u0131m\u0131 gibi parametrelerde \u00fclkemizde ilk s\u0131rada olan sekt\u00f6r k\u00fcresel pazarlarda da var olu\u015fumuzun temelini olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r.
